About me
I enjoy experimenting with colour, texture and their interactions.
I believe that abstraction has the power to speak to everyone, transcending language and personal background. It offers an open space for interpretation, where each viewer is free to develop their own connection with the work, discover different meanings, and experience it in a way that is entirely personal. I find this openness particularly beautiful, as I believe that a painting does not need to tell a specific story or convey a single message to evoke emotion or invite reflection.
My creative process usually begins with a desire to explore a particular colour palette, rather than with a predefined composition or a clear idea of what the final piece should look like. I rarely know where a painting will lead me, and I enjoy embracing this element of uncertainty. Instead of following a strict plan, I allow intuition, spontaneity and experimentation to guide me throughout the process. I work freely, layering colours, playing with textures, shapes and contrasts, and allowing unexpected elements to emerge along the way.
For me, painting is as much about the process of discovery as it is about the finished work. I try not to overthink or control every decision, but rather to remain open to what happens on the canvas. Each gesture influences the next, and the painting gradually takes on a life of its own. I continue working until I reach a point where the composition feels balanced and complete, even if I cannot always explain exactly why. Ultimately, I want my work to retain a sense of freedom and spontaneity, leaving enough room for viewers to bring their own emotions, memories and interpretations to it.
